So, I was feeling mission trunky, checked up on some old mission pals such as yourself, and stumbled across this.
Shadow Castle by Marian Cockrell was my favorite book as a kid. It’s definitely for younger children, but I’m pretty sure it had a big part in forming my ideals and morals for the world as a young’in. You could probably finish it in about two hours, but it’ll keep you feeling warm and tingly on the inside for long after that. It reminds me of a lot of Roald Dahl’s stuff.
